Savannah Ballet School of Dance specializes in the Vaganova Method of ballet. This style is visually stunning! It focuses on discipline and involving the whole body, creating harmony of movement. Starting in 2nd grade, dancers must come two days a week.
In addition to a solid base in ballet, our Young Dancers have the opportunity to learn the art of tap, and jazz. When bundled together, all three styles of dance accelerate your training and give your dancer a greater appreciation of all dance forms! These three incredible styles of dance work together to give you a greater range of athleticism and virtuosity.
Ladies must wear a black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes, and pink ballet shoes. Hair must in a bun and pulled out of the face. Boys must wear a clean, white tee shirt, black shorts/pants, black ballet shoes, black tap shoes, and black jazz shoes.
