SBT Company Auditions
AUDITION INFORMATION
Savannah Ballet Theatre is seeking professional dancers to fill positions at all levels within the company for the exciting 2021/2022 Season. SBT’s repertory includes classical full-length ballets and exciting original productions. Company benefits include pointe shoes and performances pay. Apprentices (ages 17-21) pay a nominal tuition fee, receive daily training, and take company class and perform with the full company in all productions. Dancers should bring resume and head shots. Audition spots are limited. Dancers must be at least 21 years old. Dancers with college degrees preferred, but not required. Dancers ages 17-20 are eligible for our apprentice program. Auditions for Winter/Spring 2021 will be announced in Fall of 2020.

ABOUT SAVANNAH BALLET
Savannah Ballet Theatre (SBT) is the premiere dance company of southeast Georgia. Every year, SBT Company dancers experience three exciting productions in a beautiful, historic theatre. Dancers train in a professional setting with talented teachers and innovative choreographers. Every December, SBT produces the only professional, local Nutcracker in Savannah. The Nutcracker is a favorite among locals and is a tradition for many families. The spring provides dancers the chance to perform in a original, exciting productions. Original productions include The Wizard of Oz, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, The Little Mermaid, Jack the Ripper and Sleepy Hollow. SBT has received many accolades for their original productions. Dancers are also given the opportunity to dance with other local non-profits. Past performances include the dream ballet from Oklahoma!, Swan Lake, Paquita and performances at local schools. SBT is composed of dancers from all over the country.
