Savannah Ballet School of Dance’s faculty are the most professional group of teachers in Southeast Georgia.
We pride ourselves on offering a variety of dance genres and staying true to the Vaganova (Russian) Method.

Sue Braddy

(Ballet and Pre-Pointe)
Ms. Sue is the owner of SBSD and started the Savannah Ballet Theatre in 1998. She trained with Karena Brock-Carlyle and the Savannah Ballet before opening her own school in 1988. Ms. Sue is certified in Vaganova technique! She has danced all over the world and has decades of professional dance and teaching experience. Her classes are technique based and her pointe work will have you dancing on your toes!

Nico Price

(Preschool Ballet)
Ms. Nico teaches Thursday’s Preschool classes. She fills her classes with tons of fun while teaching each dancer to develop basic dance technique. In addition to preschool ballet, her classes introduce young dancers to beginning tap dance.

Katja Rochat

(Ballet, Tap, and Jazz)
Ms. Katja is from Switzerland! She graduated in 2019 from Point Park University earning her Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a concentration in Ballet. Her classes are so fun and full of movement!

Elizabeth Pennington

(Jazz)
Elizabeth has been dancing since the day she was born! She is passionate about all forms of dance and was fortunate enough to attend the Savannah Arts Academy for Dance. After high school she attended South University and got a degree in Physical Therapy Assistance. She currently dances with Savannah Ballet Theatre and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Jillian Ley

(Ballet)
Miss Jillian has a degree from Florida State University. She is currently a Company Dancer with Savannah Ballet Theatre. Ms. Jillian teaches our Young Dancers!

Kristen Jameson

(Ballet)
Ms. Kristen graduated from Radford University with a double major in Early Childhood Education and Dance. She is Vaganova Certified and has an extensive performance history. She loves the beach and performing with Savannah Ballet Theatre as a Soloist Dancer.
